Craftsmanship - Traditional Crafts
This is the most precise of all the casting methods, and involves creating a prototype out of beeswax, wrapping it in clay, and firing it at high temperatures. The heat melts the wax in the prototype, creating gaps into which molten metal is poured. Today, the lost wax method is the mainstream.
It is possible to express precise and detailed designs.
In addition to the craftsmanship involved, copperware is durable and you can enjoy the changing texture that occurs over time.

Small ornaments that are placed alongside bonsai are called "tenpai." They enhance the beauty of the bonsai. Tenpai come in a variety of shapes, including animals such as cows and birds, three-legged tea lanterns, pagodas, buildings such as houses, and even fishermen.
